About UsWe do not sit well at desks. We do not care for mass-market tours. We know that it can be difficult to get away from the crowds and have a fun, unique adventure that truly qualifies as such. We know that we are not alone in this, and therefore we aim to share the joys of expedition travel, truly getting away for a few days, with like-minded individuals. We want each and every person who travels with us to feel like Indiana Jones and Edward Nansen combined - to have unforgettable experiences, with at least a touch of excitement to tide you over awhile longer.
In our travels we make every attempt to treat our host regions responsibly, using locally sourced food and labor where possible and treating our local hosts with the respect due them via their traditions. Kindness and good stewardship are paramount to us. |
Ian Oliver |
Ian grew up outdoors, cruising the rivers and lakes of south Louisiana when he wasn't backpacking down any trail he could find, first with Boy Scouts and then just with friends. In 2012 he discovered SCUBA diving, and almost immediately got hooked on cold water expeditions. Today he's diving his way around the Arctic - that is, when he's not swimming through caves or wading through swamps further south.
